Knot In The Threads
Twisted strand, turned and worried,
by nervous fingers frayed,
thins, becomes naught but
a single thread.
Spun, twined, wrapped upon itself,
knotting, strengthening,
frustration used, channelled into more.
Doubled, tripled, braided,
Divided and united,
once seperated becoming one.
The world turns, Ages pass.
Chaos carded, cleaned, seperated
drawn into Threads, spun for the Weaving.
Each Pass upon the Loom, another life begun,
another Path begun, decisions made,
promises shared, hearts broken.
Pattern emerges, defines.
Colors blinding, blending, muting.
Life, in all its myriad sorrows and joys,
is woven, experienced.
Illness, Death, Misfortune,
dark shadows upon the Warp and Weave,
add depth and volume to what becomes,
for us, Fate's legacy.

I am just
another knot
in the threads.

Have I told you

the laughter in your eyes,
the grin of delight
lighting your face
as the music pulls us in.
Shall we dance?
Feel the joy the music brings,
the lift of our spirits.
Singing to each other,
harmony to melody,
Man to woman,
friend to friend.
Shall we dance?
Together,
forgetting the world outside,
leaving all cares behind,
we dance,
heart to heart,
just for fun.
